I love it when you can communicate with a human, not a bot. Tori was incredibly helpful, got back to my emails so quickly especially as this was over Christmas. I had left it so late to order a hamper and most had sold out but she somehow managed to put one together for me and arrange a last minute delivery. As the hamper was a present, I can’t comment on the contents but they looked very impressive on the website.

The deliverees(?) said it was magnificent. Particularly the salami.

I totally loved the hamper I received for Valentine’s Day. Unlike usual hampers where there are often what I describe as “filler items” every single item really stood out as being something special and fully deserved it’s place. The scotch egg was full of flavour, the Stilton as good as I have eaten. The real star for me was the cows milk soft cheese - I wasn’t sure what to expect - creamy, full of flavour but not overpowering. I will now be searching this cheese out as I think it has now become my favourite cheese ever! Even the shortbread which I would usually not get excited about was up there in best shortbread ever category. I love the fact that each item comes from a specialist producer and there is detail provided on the producers themselves. So much effort has also been taken over environmentally friendly packaging. In summary, a really special hamper put together with real passion for stunning artisan products which have clearly been searched out as real stars in their own categories! Thackray Brown will now be my hamper of choice when I want to send something to clients/friends that really stands out as special and not just the default “posh hamper” from one of the big providers.
Absolutely loved my "The Cecil" box! It had a combo of delicious goodies and was delivered expertly wrapped in a beautiful box eco friendly box! I was very impressed
